Flow Formed
Our Flow-Formed wheels go through one final manufacturing process which our cast wheels do not. After the wheel has gone through the flow forming process, the final product is stronger & lighter than the cast alternative.
What are Flow Formed Wheels?
The Flow Forming Process: Once the face of the wheel has been cast, the alloy is secured into a rotating lathe over a barrel mould. Extreme & constant heat along with pressure is applied. This allows for the wheels barrel to be pressed and stretched to the desired width using roller arms spinning at high speeds to mould the barrel into shape.
This process compresses the aluminium making our flow formed wheels STRONGER & LIGHTER than their cast alternative
